BIO
In 2003, after a lengthy battle with ill-health, I found myself on the road to recovery, but with no real desire to return to the work I had been doing previously as an administrator. I had always enjoyed writing, so when my sister found a degree course at my local university in the UK I jumped at the opportunity and in 2003 I decided to follow my dream of further study. A Time to Love a Time to Hate was born out of an assignment in my final year.

A Time to Love a Time to Hate is my first novel and is an interracial romance novel originally published as Times and Seasons back in 2015.
Set against the backdrop of the turbulent US civil rights era of the 1960s, A Time to Love a Time to Hate is full of fast-moving drama and intriguing twists and turns, I hope it will keep you reading until the very end.
ABOUT
A TIME TO LOVE
A TIME TO HATE
Clara’s love for Joel could cost her everything. The stakes are high for Clara, a pretty, young migrant fieldworker working the harvesting season with dreams of a better life, and for Joel, son of a prominent farm owner who is well-known for his hatred of black people.
With racial tensions already running high in the poverty-stricken agricultural town of Belle Glade in the searingly hot summer of 1964, falling in love with handsome, blond-haired Joel Bedford is a dangerous step. Knowing they could be discovered at any time, nevertheless, Joel and Clara’s love grows. However, when violence erupts in the town, and a man is murdered, they are forced to choose between family loyalties and an uncertain future together. Can their love survive where there is so much hatred?
